The BMA is sounding the alarm to its esteemed members to enter the BMA Sustainability Awards 2023.
With just a single week remaining to enter, the countdown is on for BMA members to showcase their groundbreaking efforts in forging a greener future and making significant strides towards minimising environmental impact within the sector.
The BMA and its members take sustainability seriously. It mirrors the exceptional undertakings of its members in bolstering water efficiency, curbing carbon emissions, and delivering a more sustainable tomorrow. The BMA Sustainability Awards 2023 stand as a testament to these endeavours.
Riding high on the triumph of the 2021 and 2022 awards, this year’s competition is set to elevate the industry’s sustainability champions to new heights. Set against the backdrop of the BMA’s Industry Conference at the Carden Park Hotel, the grand gala awards dinner on October 10th is poised to be an unforgettable evening of inspiration and well-deserved accolades.
The road to recognition beckons, but all entries must be submitted by the stroke of midnight on August 31st.
Tom Reynolds, the Bathroom Manufacturers Association’s Chief Executive, said: “In the face of ongoing industry challenges, our members’ dedication to push the sustainability agenda continues to be an inspiration.
“Last year’s entries were “glowing” according to our judges and “far ahead of others in the construction supply chain on sustainability”, so we are expecting this year to be truly special.”
Seamless submission process
Participating in the 2023 awards has never been easier or more accessible. A succinct narrative of 300 to 400 words is all it takes to explain your transformative project, product, or initiative to catch the discerning eyes of the judges. This narrative should demonstrate the project, the dedicated team that fuelled its momentum, and above all, the tangible outcomes achieved.
The entry should accompany a three-minute video that will add a dynamic visual layer to your submission. There is no need for intricate productions; a simple iPhone recording or a captioned slideshow will do the trick. The video should succinctly encapsulate the essence of your submission, bringing its crucial elements to life.

Every category shines a spotlight on a facet of exceptional sustainability. BMA members are warmly encouraged to vie for glory in the following coveted categories:
- Carbon Reduction Award
- Water Efficient Innovation Award
- Open Award (Initiatives such as transitioning to a circular economy model, educating staff about efficient water use, or inspiring consumers to make eco-friendly decisions through marketing and product campaigns.)
