MARK WATSON TO HOST THE BMA ANNUAL GALA DINNER, SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS AND CHARITY FUNDRAISING AUCTION

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) is thrilled to announce that the highly acclaimed comedian, author, and TV personality, Mark Watson, will be hosting its annual gala dinner, Sustainability Awards, and charity fundraising auction on 10th October at Carden Park, Cheshire.
Mark Watson, celebrated for his contribution to comedy and known for his appearances on shows such as QI, Taskmaster, and Bear Grylls’ Celebrity Island, is no stranger to the spotlight. He has been at the helm of popular shows including BBC Four’s ‘We Need Answers’ and BBC Radio 4’s ‘Mark Watson Makes The World Substantially Better’. Recently, he has co-hosted the ‘Snooker Club’ podcast alongside seven-time world champion, Steven Hendry, and is currently touring with his new show, ‘Search’.
Beyond his comedic prowess, Watson is also an accomplished author with seven novels under his belt. His graphic novel, ‘Dan and Sam’, even caught the eye of Steven Spielberg’s studio, Amblin, for a potential film adaptation.
BMA Chief Executive Tom Reynolds remarked, “We are immensely excited to have Mark Watson on board for our annual gala and sustainability awards. Mark’s unique blend of wit, charisma, and insight is sure to make the evening memorable. His commitment to charitable initiatives, as seen through his Watsonathon, aligns with the BMA’s own ethos of giving back.”
The BMA’s Sustainability Awards is a testament to bathroom manufacturers’ efforts to mitigate their environmental footprint. The charity auction at the event will be dedicated to raising funds for the CRASH charity, aiming to support construction industry workers who face challenging times.
This illustrious evening is a part of the BMA’s annual conference, spanning two days from 9-10 October. Places for the event are filling up but remain available for those eager to partake in what promises to be an unforgettable experience. Bookings can be made via the BMA website.
