Hybrid meetings for BMA

BMA is returning to face-to-face meetings next month, following the lifting of all Covid restrictions.

Giving members the opportunity to get together in person is an important aspect of the association’s business, and a step forward in rebalancing the ‘virtual fatigue’.

The association will run hybrid events, with both physical and virtual set up, so those who cannot attend in person can still take part.

The first meeting will be the MD’s meeting, for full BMA member company principals – 1pm, September 15, followed by the Board the next morning, September 16, 8.30am at Jurys Inn, Liverpool, L3 4FN

These meetings have been scheduled to coincide with the KBB Review awards also taking place in Liverpool.

BMA Chief Executive, Tom Reynolds, said: “Our switch to virtual meetings has worked incredibly well during the pandemic, and served as a good replacement during a difficult time.

“In fact, our webinars and meetings were attended by many more members than previously, with a lot of positive feedback on the value of our digital presence during the covid crisis.

“That is why we are continuing with a mix of virtual and face-to-face attendees, to accommodate as many people as possible and ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident.”
