As we reach the halfway point of 2025, it feels like the right time to pause, reflect, and look back at how much has been achieved at Lakes Showering Spaces in just six months.
Without doubt, the launch of the Roku Collection, our latest range of stylish, installer-friendly enclosures, has been the key development for Lakes Members in 2025.
Designed with flexibility, ease of installation and long-term performance in mind, Roku has had a strong reception across the trade — and we’re excited about what’s still to come.
The last few years have been so exciting for us from a product perspective, with the Wave enclosure’s colour additions helping establish that as a firm favourite amongst customers and the launch of our Modular Walk-In collection acting as a real gamechanger for our portfolio.
We’ve also celebrated a number of important milestones across our team across the first half of the year.
Katie Harris, who first joined us as a Customer Service Apprentice, has now stepped up into a permanent role as Customer Service Advisor — a testament to the talent and drive we’re proud to nurture internally.
We’ve also strengthened our senior team. Tracey Boulton, previously our Customer Service Manager, now leads our customer operations as Head of Customer Experience — a new role reflecting our focus on service excellence.
Mick Bone has been appointed Sales Director, while Pete Ward has joined the business as Specification Manager to support our work across commercial and specification markets.
We’ve also had an eye on international innovation. Our Head of Product Development,
Marten Baker, recently visited ISH in Germany, the world’s leading trade fair for HVAC and water, keeping us connected to emerging trends and technologies.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to be exhibiting at this year’s InstallerSHOW, alongside our partners at the British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI)
We’ll be showcasing the Roku collection to its target audience and can’t wait to see how it goes down.
Looking further ahead – and without sharing too much too soon – there are some exciting product developments being worked on behind the scenes, which we’ll be sharing later in the year.
As ever, our thanks to the Bathroom Manufacturers Association for the opportunity to take over their LinkedIn channel today — and for all their ongoing support and advocacy across our sector.
Here’s to a strong second half of 2025.
