BMA welcomes Slimstock as an affiliate member

Slimstock, the supply chain planning experts, have teamed up with the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) as an affiliate member

Since its inception in 1993, Slimstock has amassed a team of over 400 supply chain experts, over 1,300 customers, and 23 global offices to ensure supply chains are run more efficiently.

Joining forces with the BMA as the bathroom sector faces challenging market conditions is a timely move to assist its members in optimising supply chains and maximising stock efficiency.

Harnessing the power of AI and Machine Learning, Slimstock’s Slim4 platform offers the complete E2E solution for demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimisation. The company also ensures that by optimising supply chains, they help to significantly reduce waste and, subsequently, the client’s carbon footprint.

Ben Percival, Sales Executive for Slimstock, said: “We have a proven track record in working alongside bathroom manufacturers to ensure uncertainties regarding volatile demand can be managed.

“With the added pressures of a cost of living crisis and rising costs for materials, labour and freight, bathroom businesses must have an agile approach and partner with experts for the right supply chain solution.

“We’re looking forward to our partnership with the BMA and bringing our solutions to its members for critical sales and operational planning.”

Tom Reynolds, Chief Executive of the BMA, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Slimstock as an affiliate member.

“As the UK is experiencing a squeeze on household budgets, our sector must ensure that business operations are managed effectively to weather fluctuating product demands. Effectively managing inventories and supply chains is a crucial factor—important for the bottom line and to reduce waste and our carbon footprint.”
