BMA elects new President

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association has appointed its Honorary Officers for 2022-24.

They are Jason Parker, Managing Director at Thomas Dudley Ltd, Craig Baker, Managing Director at Kohler Mira Ltd, and Antony Thompson, Managing Director at Lecico Bathrooms.

They will hold a term of two years and, as part of the board, will influence the decisions and governance of the association.

Newly appointed President, Jason Parker, Managing Director at Thomas Dudley Ltd, said: “It is important for me to be involved in the BMA, to give something back.

“For many years, Thomas Dudley has benefitted from the support and services of the association and it is a privilege to be able to repay that in some way, especially during these challenging times for the sector and the wider economy.”

First Vice President, Craig Baker, Managing Director at Kohler Mira Ltd, said: “As a sector of manufacturers, it is more essential than ever before to have a strong collective voice.

“There are so many legislative changes and public policy discussions impacting the world of bathrooms, it is crucial for us to help shape the outcomes and represent the views of members at every opportunity.”

Second Vice President Antony Thompson, Managing Director at Lecico Bathrooms, said: “I am excited to continue to be involved in the BMA.

“In my opinion, the association has revitalised itself in recent years and the cultural change is making an impact.”

Outgoing BMA president, John Robinson, who is Business Director of Ideal Standard, said: “The BMA has done a tremendous job in leading the sector through some tumultuous times.

“It has been a privilege to be an officer of the association over the past six years and President for the past two, when the sector has grown and shown its resilience. The BMA secretariat and board are a formidable team, and they are growing, and involving new people.

“These changes have improved the association’s position in terms of delivering for the members.”
