BMA announces promotion of Amy Kirk to Engagement Director

The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Amy Kirk to the role of Engagement Director. This significant appointment reflects the BMA’s commitment to strengthening relationships within the industry and enhancing member engagement.

Amy, who has been an integral part of the BMA for nearly a decade, previously held the position of Digital and Events Manager. Her new role as Engagement Director will involve spearheading the association’s efforts to maintain and foster close relationships with members and to build partnerships with both existing and new affiliates.

In her new capacity, Amy will oversee the association’s events and meeting programme and coordinate the production of webinars and the quarterly ‘Insights’ publication. This strategic move aligns with BMA’s goal of being the leading light for bathroom manufacturers in the UK.

Regarding her promotion, Amy Kirk expressed her enthusiasm, “As I approach ten years with the BMA, I’m delighted to have received this promotion to Engagement Director. The bathroom sector and wider KBB industry are constantly evolving, and it’s a privilege to be part of such a vibrant association that puts its members at the forefront. I’m looking forward to the challenge and working with the team and our members to further elevate BMA’s position in the industry.”

Amy’s promotion is part of the BMA’s broader leadership structure, which includes Andy McLean as Technical Director, focusing on regulatory analysis and product standardisation, and Tom Reynolds as Chief Executive, overseeing overall management and leading external communications with key stakeholders.

Tom Reynolds, Chief Executive, highlighted the importance of member engagement, “Trade associations’ strength depends on the participation and engagement of their members. BMA is fortunate to have an active membership, and the creation of this role reflects the emphasis we place on working hard to meet their needs. Amy’s promotion is well deserved. She is a well-known face to most of our membership and is highly respected for her tremendous efforts on behalf of the sector.”
