Roman’s product collection includes Shower Enclosures; Bath Screens; Wetroom Systems; Solid Surface Anti-Slip Shower Trays; and Solid Surface Fabrication of Basins, Vanity Units and Bathroom Structures; with case goods and furniture integrated into its design.
Roman is experienced in large project work (operating in over 72 markets worldwide) – most notably across Europe, The Americas, Asia Pacific and The Middle East. In 2021, Roman was certified as Carbon Neutral and is fully committed to the Circular Economy with all products manufactured from recycled materials.
This year Roman has introduced a new rapid 48-hour delivery service on its volume trade ranges, which breaks Roman’s traditional model of manufacturing to order – Roman is now manufacturing stock for these products for the first time. Products are held at Roman’s 400,000 sq. ft facility in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
“Customers today have increasingly high expectations, certainly when it comes to speed of delivery. The world has changed. Amazon culture means that people expect things to arrive within 24 or 48 hours, so we are responding to the way the market is going”, says David Osborne, CEO of British showering solutions manufacturer, Roman.
Amazon’s ultra-fast delivery has set a high benchmark, and this is filtering into the bathroom industry, particularly in the volume trade sector. As a result, Roman is moving this year towards offering fully national 48-hour service on its volume trade ranges.
