We were established in 1998, meaning that this year marks our 25th anniversary!
Our business was created by Gary Baxter, our Managing Director until his very recent retirement in December 2022. It all began with us supplying Halogen and Fluorescent lighting to small kitchen outlets throughout the UK, and all our products were originally sold within the UK.
We have two premises, based in Leeds, which is home to our new bathroom showroom, our main sales office, as well as two large warehouses to store our vast amounts of stock. Our newest premises opened last year, which is home to our collection of new bathroom lighting and mirrors, and has a large showroom which shows off all of our latest products
We are very proud to have an in-house technical and design department, providing vital support to our customers. Our technical team answer many different queries on a daily basis, as well as helping our clients design their showroom lighting for optimal results. Our extensive testing laboratory is also an important part of our technical department, which ensures we can provide accurate data for all our lighting products. We also have a form on our website to support this service. Our “three step design service” simply lets clients send us the details of any given plan of a customers kitchen, bedroom or bathroom, and our team will send back a detailed quotation including a list of parts required for the job.
Our lighting collection includes options for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Our newest products are our LED Mirrors and Mirror Cabinets. Most of our mirrors and cabinets have tunable white LED lighting, which can help to create a different ambience depending on the time of day, or create a particular mood. Tunable White (CCT) offers the user the ability to change the colour of their lighting from warm, to natural or to cool white to suit the individual décor or individual preference.
Our mirrors can also be dimmed to provide a cosy feel for a relaxing spa-like experience within the home. Each mirror features modern touch-control buttons on the front for ease of switching and dimming. Some also feature Bluetooth speakers and shaver sockets.
We also have a range of classic LED Mirrors, which feature natural white LED rather than the tunable white function. Some of these mirrors also have other features such as shaver sockets or built in shelving.
We also offer a range of ventilation products, such as extractor fans or ceiling fans with built in LED lights.
We have recently teamed up with Bathnet, a new platform where brands and retailers are brought together. Being part of the Bathnet community helps us to gain valuable insights into the bathroom industry, enabling us to develop products and services that exceed our client’s expectations.
Another platform we have become part of is the NBS, and our products are now listed on NBS source., NBS Source is a free-to-use construction product platform that allows you to quickly and easily find, select and specify our products.
Another exciting moment for us in 2023, is our partnership with another BMA member, virtual worlds. Virtual worlds is an amazing design platform, where you can create stunning 3D designs with manufacturer endorsed products, and present them in realistic virtual reality with 4D Theatre. Being part of Virtual Worlds connects us to our retail customers, and ensures that we can communicate easily, grow sales and increase efficiency together.
