Roman launches Bitcoins

As Europe fast approaches the final countdown, leading international shower designer and manufacturer, Roman, announces their new international price list is now available in Bitcoins.

Due to Brexit uncertainty with foreign exchange, Roman has launched a new international price list in Bitcoins. On 1st April, the British manufacturer has officially gone live with their new Bitcoin prices in a dedicated brochure and as another currency option on their website.

Roman’s Financial Director, Jon Francs, commented: “Whilst many people were sceptic about the Euro, we can see virtually no downsides with Bitcoins. There is of course always the backstop of the traded currencies. ”

Bitcoins enable payments to be sent between users without passing through a central authority, such as a bank or payment gateway. It is created and held electronically. Bitcoins aren’t printed, like sterling or euros – they’re produced by computers all around the world, using special software.

“Now with Roman’s extensive product range available in Bitcoins there is no limit to our international presence and I really look forward to working with new customers who trade in Bitcoins”, commented Roman’s International Specification Manager, Conrad Radisson.

Emilia Plaza-Marriott, International Manager at Roman, commented: “Over the past several months, a lot of in depth research has been done by Roman internally and externally to implement the Bitcoin currency and the sterling effort undertaken by the Roman team will pay dividends in the future. Top marks to all those involved.”
