Chris Leighton from PHS Bathrooms won the coveted Robert Brown Trophy at the charity golf day hosted by The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA). The event took place on the challenging PGA Course, at the Belfry Hotel in Sutton Coldfield on 26 September.

Despite it being a blustery day, there was a good turnout and the golfers all began at the same time on a shotgun start, after a welcoming late breakfast.

The course was judged by the competitors to live up to its reputation as one of the best courses in Britain. The other winners on the day included the winning team, Geberit; the longest drive, Mark Larden from Geberit and nearest the pin which was won by

Christopher Hackett from Classic Marble. The day finished with a three course dinner and prize giving.

Yvonne Orgill of the BMA said, “The Charity Golf Day is always a fantastic event.  We are grateful to those that took part and helped to make it such a memorable day.

“Our thanks to the sponsors and golfers, as in previous years the money raised will go to our nominated charity, the Children’s Burns Trust.”
