The Bathroom Manufacturers Association has announced that David Henig, Director at the UK Trade Policy Project, European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE) will speak at the 2019 Bathroom & Kitchen Business Conference.

David is one of the leading authorities on UK trade policy. He joined the European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE) as Director of the UK Trade Policy Project in April 2018, having previously worked for the UK Government, helping establish the Department for International Trade in 2016, and before that joining with EU and US colleagues on their TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) negotiations from 2013. 

He has also worked on a number of other trade related areas including inward investment, regulations, and the role of multinational bodies such as the OECD.

BMA CEO Yvonne Orgill said, “David will provide an insight into the trade implications of Brexit and the likely future economic path of the UK.

“He is exceptionally well qualified and a welcome addition to this year’s line-up, which also includes top retail influencer, Cate Trotter.

Both speakers will address topics that have a real impact on business, providing valuable information so that delegates are better equipped to face the challenges of the ‘Brave New World’.
