BMA Postpones Industry Forums

The BMA has postponed three industry forums due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The trade body had planned the events, for bathroom sector HR, finance and sustainability professionals, to take place in late March and early April. Now the forums will be delayed until early summer.

Association CEO Tom Reynolds explained the decision:

Over the past few weeks, BMA has been closely monitoring Government advice on the COVID-19 outbreak. Yesterday, the Government announced that it would be likely that they may commence the “delay” part of their plans in around ten days

Coupled with this news, we are being notified by several of our members that they are implementing quite tight travel and meeting restrictions at a company level. Rather than proceeding with far fewer participants than we would like, or cancelling the event at the last minute, we’ve taken the decision to postpone now.”

“It is with a heavy heart that we’ve reached this decision as we assembled an expert panel of external speakers and had tremendous interest from members and non-members alike. We’ll look to reschedule as soon as possible.”
