Retrofit Credits is a carbon credits programme that unlocks additional funding into housing retrofit by verifying the emission reductions and social value of retrofit projects.
To ensure the environmental integrity of the issued credits, this project has been developed under the Verified Carbon Standard, the world’s leading certification programme for emission reduction projects, and for the first time via Retrofit Credits now can be verified for works completed on UK homes, as well as the UK Social Value Bank to robustly measure the positive impact on people and communities who live in them.
