TECHNICAL OFFICER -

Assist the Lead Technical Consultant to produce new and updated CIPHE Technical Guides. Obtain written contributions from authors; arrange peer reviews; proof read and edit

Assist the Lead Technical Consultant in projects to progress the technical education of engineers e.g. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) resources

Take direct responsibility for specific technical projects

Build and maintain effective relationships with Industrial Associates (IA) to secure their technical input to the Technical Working Groups, educational initiatives, live workshops etc

Obtain articles from Industrial Associates for publication; write technical articles

Organise CIPHE technical courses, seminars, and webinars 

Respond to Technical Enquiries from members

Support and positively leverage the Technical Working Groups (TWGs) e.g. obtain essential information, identify sources of new expert assistance, provide organisational help 

Raise the status of CIPHE in the plumbing and heating engineering sector

  • Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L & Balance Sheet
  • Timely production of statutory & internal financial reports
  • Financial modelling & analysis
  • Cash, debtors & creditors management 
  • Ensuring that appropriate systems & internal controls are implemented & maintained
  • Overseeing the Payroll process
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Liaison with all departments & support with cost management initiatives
